Day 1 - Bucharest, Romania

Welcome to Bucharest. Transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city, with the former Royal Palace and great shopping at your doorstep. The rest of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring the city’s wide boulevards and captivating architecture on your own. Day 2 - Transylvania, Romania

After breakfast, take a drive through the Transylvanian countryside. Visit Peleș Castle, a 19th-century fortification in Sinaia that melds numerous European architectural styles and materials into a harmonious and romantic structure. Continue to Brașov and experience a little touch of Saxony during a walking tour. In the Main Square, see the Biserica Neagră, named for the fire damage it suffered, and explore the town’s historic center. Enjoy this evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 3 - Transylvania, Romania

Today, you may join an optional full-day excursion exploring Transylvania, including a visit to the medieval town of Sighișoara. Wind your way through narrow alleys between pastel-hued buildings surrounded by fortified walls. Within this UNESCO World Heritage Site lies the history of 15th-century Walachian prince Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Dracula. (B)

Day 4 - Bucharest, Romania

This morning, check out of your Brașov hotel and take a short ride to Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle. This landmark citadel, built during the 14th century and used by Saxon and Walachian kings, is the best known of several locations linked to the Dracula legend. The castle has Gothic and baroque furnishings and decorative arts on display. After your tour, embark on a scenic drive to Bucharest, where you will join your fellow guests. (B)

Day 1 - Istanbul, Turkey

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a Viking Representative who will accompany you to your hotel. After check-in, relax and spend the rest of your day exploring the city on your own. Day 2 - Istanbul, Turkey

Embark on a guided tour featuring many of Istanbul’s historic landmarks. See the remains of the legendary Hippodrome of Constantinople, an ancient sports complex that was the center of Byzantine life for centuries. Visit the “Blue Mosque,” renowned for the azure İzniktiles that adorn its inspired interior, and the iconic 6th-century Hagia Sophia, a former cathedral and mosque known as the embodiment of Byzantine architecture. Afterward, enjoy the afternoon and evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 3 - Istanbul, Turkey

Spend your morning on a guided tour of the 15th-century Topkapi Palace, the former imperial residence of Ottoman sultans and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the royal harem and treasury, and admire the many artifacts that showcase the rich culture of the Ottomans. This afternoon, you may join an optional tour to the Spice Bazaar to browse the many stalls selling exotic spices. Then, take a scenic cruise along the Bosphorus Strait that separates Europe and Asia. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 4 - Istanbul, Turkey

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Bucharest. (B)

Day 1 - Prague

Disembark your ship and embark on a scenic drive to Prague. Check in to your hotel and enjoy an evening at your leisure. Perhaps sample some of the hearty local cuisine, or take a stroll to view some of the city’s monuments beautifully illuminated. Day 2 - Prague

Set out on a panoramic tour of Prague, including a guided walk through Prague Castle. Few cities embody the past as authentically as Prague, the Czech Republic’s atmospheric capital that clings to its history with unwavering passion. Prague’s medieval architecture is its most prominent, but the city is also a rich repository of Romanesque, baroque and art nouveau buildings that stir the imagination. Later, enjoy free time to visit some of the city’s landmarks or museums. (B)

Day 3 - Prague

Spend the day further exploring Prague on your own. See more of the Old Town or check out some of Prague’s more modern sights such as the Frank Gehry–designed Dancing House, an office building inspired by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Cross Charles Bridge, see the Astronomical Clock and the Lennon Wall, and stand in historic Wenceslas Square. Stroll past the colorful cottages on Golden Lane, or visit the Jewish Quarter and see the 13th-century Altneuschul, Europe’s oldest active synagogue. (B)

Day 4 - Prague

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to the airport for your return flight. (B)

Day 1 - Graz, Austria & Zagreb, Croatia

Disembark your ship and begin your journey to Zagreb, stopping for lunch and a visit to the historic city center of Graz, the capital of Austria’s Styria province and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival in Zagreb, check into your hotel and settle into your guest room. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure exploring Croatia’s scenic capital city. Day 2 - Zagreb, Croatia

This morning, set out on a panoramic tour by motor coach of Zagreb, nestled between the slopes of Medvednica Hill and banks of the Sava River. View such sights as the medieval Old Town and the Gothic-style Church of St. Marcus. At the conclusion of your excursion, you will enjoy the rest of the day and evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 3 - Ljubljana, Slovenia & Venice, Italy

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board your motor coach for a scenic transfer to Venice, making time to stop for lunch in the beautiful Slovenian capital of Ljubljana. Upon arrival in Venice, check in to your hotel, then enjoy the remainder of the day exploring this historic city at your leisure. Day 4 - Venice, Italy

This morning, embark on a scenic boat ride to iconic St. Mark’s Square. See the 15th-century Dogeʹs Palace, once the seat of government for the Venetian Republic and Courts of Justice. Admire the famous reconstruction of the Campanile in the heart of the square and St. Markʹs Basilica, a beautiful Byzantine-style cathedral built in the shape of a Greek cross. Afterward, the remainder of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at your leisure. (B)

Day 5 - Venice, Italy

After breakfast, set out to discover two of Venice’s most beautiful outlying islands. Embark on a scenic boat ride to the island of Murano for a visit to one of the leading glass manufacturers, then continue to Burano to learn about Venice’s lace-making industry. Afterward, return to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Take a winding stroll through Venice’s charming streets, or savor a meal at one of the city’s many fine restaurants. (B)

Day 6 – Venice, Italy

Today, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
